- Light gardening, organizing trash and recycling, tidying outside and garage areas.
- Organizing, re-organizing and de-cluttering.
- Coordinating installation and/or purchase of equipment for safety and support. (i.e. walkers, canes, grab bars, bath chairs, etc.)
- Help with home appliances and electronics. (i.e. programming telephones, clocks, nightlights, etc.)
- Arranging appointments, deliveries, maintenance, banking and accounts where requested.
- Assisting with grocery purchases including monitoring food freshness, rotation and quality.
- Arranging seasonal maintenance and outside subcontracting where needed.
- Helping with filing and organizing papers, invoices, statements and documents.
- Personal healthcare concerning bathing, toileting, dressing, etc.

- Arranging vehicle transport whether with the client's or the assistant's car.
- Arranging tickets, reservations, appointments, events, etc. and helping coordinate plans.
- Assist in organizing vehicle maintenance, insurance, fuel, etc. when required.
- Help and training in use of PC, Internet and email.
- Help with basic installations and PC maintenance.
- Organization of items to be sold on eBay, given to charity or grouped and sorted for family members and/or loved ones.
- Arranging for specific home adaptations and/or equipment (i.e. victrectomy kit for eye surgery, rental of other special equipment).
- Vacation check. Check on homes, pets, etc. when clients are away.
- Phone check. Pre-planned phone calls check in with a client to be sure all is well and help arranged if need be.
- Benefit check. We can help assure that you are receiving all the benefits, pensions, etc. that you are entitled to and help simplify your banking and bill paying.
- Event planning. Someone to help with lists and arrangements when dealing with either a joyful or sad occasion can take the stress and pressure off.
There are so many things that get a bit more challenging in later years. Changing lightbulbs, furnace filters and those many petty jobs that were once routine can be more risky than they once were and not worth a fall or injury. A few hours a week with a capable assistant and these chores are taken care of with care and precision providing invaluable peace of mind.
