Northgate Support Services provides senior support services in the South Cowichan area.

Home visits to provide companionship and help with general chores, light housekeeping, gardening and anything that requires an extra hand.

We can also take clients to appointments, events or just a drive to get out of the house.

We provide help with basic computer skills helping them "hands-on" to understand email and the Internet.

We can help our clients sort and organize their home and can even help with yard sales, ebay sales or taking items to charity. We know "down-sizing" is a daunting task that is easy to put off. We will make it fun and possibly even profitable! Imagine the peace of mind after getting those projects done.

Our assistants can also help you with hospital stays, providing transport to and from, then helping you get comfortable in your home. We can pick up the prescriptions and run any other errands you may need. We'll even make that chicken soup to make you feel better!

Have you wanted to plan a dinner party or gathering in your home? We can provide help freeing you to enjoy your guests and the event.

We will also be providing check-in service for people away on vacation doing things like watering plants, feeding pets, taking in mail, newspapers and generally ensuring security.

As you can imagine, the list of services we can offer is endless but basically, if it's legal, ethical, safe and local, we'll do our best to be accommodating. Please see the survey below to make your suggestions known.

Northgate Support Services will not be hiring any other assistants. Due to the unfortunate implimentation of the HST, Laila Pera feels that it is impossible to continue maintaining a staff. I will continue to provide services on my own and will provide recommendations for others, if I can't fulfill your needs.
